Bethuadahari

The Eco-tourism centre is located in Nadia district, In Bethuadahari Sanctuary. The major wild lives found here are Chital, Jungle cat, Civet cat, Jackal, Mangoose, Porcupine, Langur, Monitor lizard, Python, Cobra, Krait etc and about 50 species of birds... There are two nature trails- Brandis trail and Salim Ali trails throughout the sanctuary. Tourist can stroll around during day experiencing chirping and cooing of birds and grazing chital. A Nature Interpretative Centre (Shri Dijendralal Roy Nature Interpretation Centre) would orient the tourists before setting off for a walk around sanctuary. The sanctuary is attractive to the tourists as they get a feel of the forest without the innate fear of danger from major carnivoreswhich is attached to all forests.
